A while back, I purchased a subscription to Scribd, so yes, this is all about what I read on this platform.
I like to read, and once I'm done, I like to talk about the books I've read (hence the Blah!). But how to do it do when my friends have not read the same books?
This is one of the reasons behind this blog. Another reason is to organise my ideas, because, refkecting on what I read help me become a better writer. I used to always give positive feedback on books, but lately, I find that I can learn to not write the stuff I don't like in other authors' books.
I don't care about spoilers, because I don't mind spoilers, they do not spoil my readings. I retain my innocence when I start a book regardless of what other people thought or said. So, please if you are not happy with spoilers, don't read my blog, ok? Still I try not to tell the whole story in my critics, as I find that all reviews start with this. Why? We all read the book and the people who did not don't want to read it in a sum-up version and someone else's words...
Also who knows? If you read the same book, you might want to exchange ideas with me, comment on my critics, etc. Please do! Use the comment section and blah with me.
I create challenges for myself. I set a number of books I would like to read for a given month. For example, March 2021 was a "Reading challenge month" for me. I tried to read as many books as I could.
Once I have selected the books, I write the titles in my Bujo and off I go.
I like to read mystery, romantic stories, thrillers sometimes. I don't read horror or porn, no Sir! Erotica is fine though.
I will comment on the books in articles. Let's hope I manage to organise all the mess that's in my head. 😁
